Superstay 24H Hybrid Powder Foundation

I don't wear alot of foundation or cover up mostly because they bother my skin. This one is lightweight, it has pretty good coverage just by itself. In the pic I have it just on the right side of my face. It shows the coverage of the foundation without primer or anything underneath or on top. I really like this and do use it. It hasnt bothered my skin at all and stays very well for me. I reccommend giving it a try its very budget friendly. I've tried expensive brands and store brands and this ones easily in my top 5 tor my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It went on easily, it's pigmented, and it's a good size to throw in your bag and go. There is a good color range and woth powders it's easy enough to match your shade without testing it. If you are peach fuzzy, like me, it will show that with just the sponge on the container. You will need a brush to make it not sit on just your peach fuzz. After adding blush and bronzer I looked really cute and natural. I will say this does not last on your skin longer than 4 hours. You will need to reapply. For the price I would reach for a different powder. I have oily/combination skin so this might work better on drier skin

This powder is pure magic. I don't like to use loose powder. Can't explain why but it just isn't my thing and I don't like to try and make it work. Well I just happen to come across a video of Dominique Sachse trying this out which I didn't know it was from over a year ago. I have probably tried over 1,000 powders to use over my foundation bcuz I like a blur no imperfections look. I'm a matte girl. Please please please Maybelline, don't ever discontinue this one. It's a keeper. Since I'm late to the game on this product I thought I would do a review since I'm totally 110% convinced this is simply perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for the last 2 days since received, and I have to say its very impressive; it actually does have staying power and that's what I am most impressed with. Similar products of this type that I have used previously mostly need a 'touch up' during the day, but not this product. Glides on easily
and its wonderful how it stays on. I guess that's why it's such a quality product. The shade is a little lighter than my usual, and I would likely choose a shade a little darker in the future, but that's just a minor point..overall its a go-to product for me and one I will stick with in the future.

The coverage is pretty normal for a powder, and it definitely starts to act up if I try to layer more on. Like a lot of powders, it will settle into lines on your skin I like that it feels really light when it's on, and it helps the appearance of my pores. Overall, it's fine for a drugstore product, but probably not super suited to my current skin situation.

The color match was perfect though. I'm sure that this would work really well over a foundation that has already been applied or on someone who has well moisturized skin. I did give this another try. I moisturized my face before using it. This time it went on a little bit easier, a little bit nicer, and a little bit smoother. I'm glad that I did that because now I know that if I moisturize my face beforehand it will work much better. It did last all day, which was nice.

I loved the product that this replaced. The 16hr super stay powder. It needs to be brought back because this new one is a completely different product. It sits weirdly on top of the skin and coverage is minimum. It doesnt stick to my nose. It also doesn't last very long. So much product comes off when you swipe it. I have tried a beauty blender with it and a powder foundation brush. It gets powder everywhere. It was very hard to figure out my color with the numbers. Color descriptions using cool, warm or neutral would help. I had to purchase numerous colors in order to figure it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a powder foundation and it will only give you light coverage but it will build to at least a medium if you powder it on a lot but I wouldn’t recommend it as it looks cakey (see my swatch on my arm). The application would also work well as a setting powder. The sponge that it comes with is really cheap and it’s similar to the ones that come with most powder foundation (I’m comparing it to the Estee Lauder one). Overall, great~ but I would only recommend for those who are seeking light coverage and not for those like myself who are trying to hide blemishes.

I am not usually keen on powder foundations as I seem to find them problematic with my combination type skin. I tried applying with the applicator and the brush. Brush seems better as it doesnt give that much of a heavy coverage and patchy look. However with the applicator it sits on very patchy. I didnt find the texture any different. It is just your usual powder foundation. Yes it stays on very long time but it does not sit nice on the skin as much as a liquid foundation does. Overall i dont think it is a substitute to what i am using now and I do use maybelline liquid ones too. If you are after heavy coverage and powder foundation it has advanced so might be an option to buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was actually prepared not to like this as I like full cover. This actually covers well and is very easy to apply. Gives a nice matte finish which is good on my combination skin, stayed put as well. It’s no good if you like to layer a liquid concealer/highlighter or cream on top as it kind of separates. Had to take it off and start again but tbh the finish was really nice without, might work if you used them underneath first. Eye shadow and blusher went on lovely over the top. The sponge that it comes with seems a bit flimsy but it does give the best cover, I tried with my ordinary foundation brush and cover was lighter. I think this is a great everyday foundation and gives a nice natural finish and super easy to get that flawless look.

No proper and nothing, just to see how it would work with bare skin. Right away it clung to my dry patches and made textre pretty obvious, it also didn't have coverage without it again being heavy. In pictures 3&4 I had it on for about 2 hours at that point, I have an oily tzone and dry patches on my cheeks. It moved around on my tzone and it again made my texture super obvious on the dryer patches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t normally use powder foundations because I feel like they’re harder to use with cream products unless you already know which cream products mesh well with a powder base as well as the fact that they tend to sit on top of the skin in an awkward and unnatural way in comparison to liquid and cream foundations if you have peach fuzz. This foundation basically just confirmed these things for me and I think I’d prefer to use this as an under eye setting powder instead of an all over base product. Coverage was buildable though which was nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the shade, i got #06, is slightly lighter than my skin tone, i think the product is a lovely powder foundation. It comes in a 9g compact with a bottom compartment for the sponge - which also has a mirror, so it's good for on the go. The powder is very fine, applies nice and smoothly, doesn't feel heavy. The is hardly any kickback. It does cover the pores so a light coverage, but not quite like a bb or cc cream does. It would not be medium coverage and does not feel like foundation. I felt that after about 4 hours, my skin oils had come through and there isn't much of the coverage left, so you would need to reapply. It's a close dupe to Clinique's Super-double powder.
I have preferred using this as a top up powder over my regular foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have a love/dislike relationship with this product, as beautiful as the coverage and finish is when you immediately apply this - after a while (or if you set your makeup with it anywhere) it will sluff off with your makeup underneath at any sign of sweat. This was upsetting! As I sweat on my face and on my upper lip when I am anxious so it was the first area to go, I also have allergies so my nose dripping did not help this product’s case. I also used it to set my under eye and it appeared pretty cakey. But maybe it was user error & this product is intended to be used alone? Or possible on top of a setting powder, as that may help it perform better? Either way I loved experimenting with this product and hopefully will find the way it works best.

As for myself hats what I prefer so it worked out great. Light and airy on my skin has no strong makeup smell. Last all day it is resistant to light sweating but as it's winter can't say how it holds up to Southern summer temperatures. Definitely delivers the soft matte look. I do recommend this powder foundation long as you are not wanting a thick full coverage powder. Feel the price is good for it as well.

I have the 16hr and the 24hr version of this. Both are less than impressive. I definitely don’t get more than medium coverage despite different application techniques and trying different primers. I moisturize and prime my skin well but the product still has a chalky/dry appearance. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I like layering it over a foundation to bump my coverage a little. But as a stand alone foundation, no thanks. I also haven’t found either of the versions to last half as long as the packaging claims.

I typically use powder foundations to set my under eyes or mattify my nose and between my brows. This made my foundations (and I tried it with multiple) look cakey and incredibly dry instead of smooth. And when I used it by itself, it didn’t stick to anything but my nose. Yes, I prepped with moisturizers and serums, used my various primers (silicone, too!) and it just did not work for me. The shade was good, though, which is why I gave 2 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive a powder foundation as I’m always looking for a good one. They are easy to use for lowkey makeup days. I have dry skin and am particular about powder foundations looking cakey. This product did not melt nicely with my skin, it highlighted all dry patches and the shade I had was pretty ashy. I would not repurchase for the right shade unfortunately. If you have perfect skin and looking for something to top it for color, this could work. But I do not recommend for anyone with any texture.
