BEAUTY HACK ALERT: SCULPT, DEFINE AND TRANSFORM YOUR BROWS WITH EYEBROW MAPPING

Eyebrow mapping, the innovative beauty technique for precise and defined brows. From understanding eyebrow mapping basics to achieving show-stopping arches, this is the ultimate brow styling guide for fuller, natural-looking brows.

WHAT ACTUALLY IS EYEBROW MAPPING?

In short, this brow hack will help you find the ideal brow shape for your face. The technique helps to determine the best position for the start, arch, and end of your eyebrows Take a step back from the mirror and have a quick check of your brows. You should have three dots on each brow, one at the start, one at the arch and one at the end. Are the dots on both brows symmetrical? Yes? Great! Now let’s get down to shaping them. Gently pluck, wax, or thread any stray hairs that fall outside the mapped areas. An eyebrow pen, such as Maybelline Build-a-Brow, can be used to fill in any sparse areas and enhance their fullness and definition. Using light, feathery strokes, follow the natural direction of hair growth. This technique helps mimic the look of real hair and gives your brows a polished yet natural appearance.

  1. Step 1

The first step of brow mapping involves identifying where your eyebrow should start. To do this, imagine a vertical line starting at the outer edge of the nostril, extending towards the inner corner of the eye, and continuing upward until it reaches the eyebrow. This is where the eyebrow should begin. Mark this point using the Build-A-Brow Pen. A ruler or inked string can be used to ensure that the measurement is exact.

  2. Step 2

Next, to find the ideal peak for your arch, envision a straight line going diagonally from the outer edge of your nostril, passing through the center of your pupil and over your brow bone to meet your eyebrow. This is approximately where your eyebrow should arch. Again, mark this point
  3. Step 3

Extend a line diagonally from the outer edge of your nostril, crossing over your cheekbone and passing the outer corner of your eye. The point where this extended line intersects with your eyebrow is where it should ideally end. Mark this point.
  4. Step 4

To keep the shape looking fuller for longer and to stop the hairs moving throughout the day, use the Maybelline Build-A-Brow brow gel to seal the hairs in place for up to 24 hours.
